Our philosophy

Hytra Restaurant has developed its culinary identity based on the approach and the redefinition of the rich cultural heritage of Greek gastronomy by giving a contemporary expression in execution and the presentation of dishes.

As a harmonious and complementary coexistence of two different approaches around the meaning of Greek food, the two separate restaurant menus, the Hytra menu and the Hytra Apla menu that share a single space, interact in a gastronomic “choreography” in order to elevate the Greek cuisine through two constantly changing cards, having in common the domestic raw materials and recipes.

Hytra Gourmet

Memories from Greek flavors emerging from traditional recipes, which have been executed in a contemporary way, with modern inspiration and aesthetics, is the essence of Hytra’s gourmet menu.

The highly technical recipes which are surrounded with high aesthetic choices in the appearance of the dishes and the table’s setup are offered through a tasting menu or from isolated options available on the menu.

Hytra Apla

The “Apla” menu, while staying on the path of excellence as our Gourmet cuisine, presents a casual dining experience at affordable prices. It includes domestic traditional flavors made with modern inspiration, and it changes twice a year.

Hytra Bar

Based on the love for Greek herbs and spices and the forgotten traditional syrups, liqueurs and brandies, the barmen of the Hytra Bar create unique cocktails, using freshly squeezed fruit juices and handmade syrups and liqueurs, based on old traditional recipes made with the most modern techniques.

Street Food

To accompany your cocktail, we have created unique street food tastes, made from the same hand-picked premium ingredients we use for all our menus. All street-food dishes are served on our bar.

HYTRA RESTAURANT & BAR

During summer, Hytra moves to the 7th floor of the building, offering a unique outdoor setting with panoramic view of the Acropolis, Lycebettus hill and the city skyline.
